La Tingeria Food Truck Type Food Truck

Perhaps the best food truck in the DC area. The tacos are absolutely amazing - flavorful and authentic. I would eat here everyday if I could.

First time trying this truck today and was really impressed. Got the tinga beef sopa and the chicken torta. The torta is huge and has great fresh ingredients. The fresh cilantro, avocado, tomatoes, and authentic Mexican cheese really made it pop. I got the sopa thinking the torta wouldn't be enough food, but I had the sopa first, which was $3 and that was nearly enough for a meal. The homemade tortillas are fried right before serving, which created a great contrast between the hot, crisp fried corn tortilla with the beef and fresh toppings. I could only eat half of the torta after the sopa, and that was a struggle. The tinga beef is a slow cooked, really tender brisket with great flavors. I was given a free bag of fresh mango with chili seasoning too, which was a nice plus. The service was very friendly and polite. I like trying different food trucks, and having tried many, I'm not accustomed to this level of authenticity, quality, or value, so this is definitely a new favorite.

Even though they stopped taking cc, i save up cash to get La Tingeria, super nice guys making amazing food. The tingas and sopas are messy, but worth the effort. The office agrees that it is one of our favorite trucks. Make sure you try the Quesadilla, its not like the ones from chichis, its totally different. More like a fried mesa pock with spicy meat and cheese inside!

Never had a Tinga or Soupes so I must try. I love Mexican foods but not from this truck. Maybe the other items are good but the driver did tell me these are their fav's. I felt dirty after eating them. Difficult to eat by hand and fork. Good prices ($3 each) but same flavor as Taco Bell just no as salty.

This was so much food, but I couldn't stop eating. It was so delicious. Fresh, flavorful ingredients. The tortas was served like an open face sandwich on a soft roll, topped with saucy meat, cheese, cilantro and a bunch of other ingredients I couldn't track. This definitely would have been plenty, but I had also ordered a tinga and ate it all. No regrets!

Tried La Tingeria for the first time today and I was pleasantly surprised on price, taste and quality. Everything seemed really fresh and was delicious. My favorite is the beef Sope - the tostada, bean, beef and fresh cilantro was excellent. Please come back more often to Rosslyn!

The Sopes and the Tinga were both awesome. They are essentially an open faced taco on fried tostada or corn tortilla and you eat it like a pizza. I also had a chicken quesadilla. Three of these at $2.50 each was a hearty lunch!

Moist tendor meat, great flavor, good portion, and great value, I'll be back the next time La Tingeria is around!

Very fresh and clean flavors, very good customer service. The Tinga had a lot of onions, but it still tasted great and I typically hate onions.
