I got the Bulgogi and Kimchi sub and it was so good! It had a nice kick. The meat was very tender and the sub roll was fresh and soft. I was skeptical about the cheese being on the sandwich with kimchi but it ended up being a nice addition to the sandwich and balanced the spice.

The service was okay. I waited about 5-8 minutes for the sandwich which was not bad since they were very busy.

I will be getting this sandwich again!

This is my favorite foodtruck. The mixture of bulgogi and kimchee on a soft sub roll with American toppings of provalone, lettuce, tomato & mayo is so good, so unique, and something I crave now that I've tried it!

Excellent all around. Got the Bulgogi Regular on the advice of the counter guy at the Metro Center truck. Thanks for the pick - it's a darn tasty sandwich. Love the soft bread and marinated beef. Sort of an Asian twist on a Philly cheesesteak, only way better than any cheesesteak I've ever eaten!

It was so good that I came back the next day! The meat is tender and flavorful. I'm a happy girl 🙂

Ever since I started getting into food trucks, this has been my go-to spot. I always order the kimchi bulgogi sub and it has yet to disappoint me. If you like spicy, try the Hottie sauce with it. The only thing I wish to change is to add a bit more kimchi on the sub

WOW! I never write reviews, but this sub is AMAZING! Even though it was a long line, I still got my sub within 10 minutes.

Unfortunately, this sandwich was disappointing and left me regretting my truck selection. The wait (20 minutes) was not worth my while. The sandwich description did not mention egg, so that was a surprise to find on my sandwich and it added absolutely zero flavor. There was barely any kimchi on the sub, and what little there was happened to all be on the first half. I didn't even bother to eat the second half of the sandwich and, instead, visited another truck for dessert. It should also be noted that none of their sauces are actually spicy at all, so if you are looking for spicy this isn't the place.

The first time I visited the Wassub truck I ordered the chicken teriyaki, a suggestion from the employee. After I began to eat my meal I looked down to notice large amounts of hair wrapped up in my chicken. Immediately I went back to truck and demanded a refund. With no hesitation I was refunded my full sub amount. I was very disappointed in this experience. The first two bites I had of the chicken were very delicious, but was quickly turned sour once I uncovered the hair balls in my sub. Again, I thought the food was great just an unfortunate experience for me. Please check your food prior to consumption.

This truck is AMAZING. I was skeptical about buying sandwiches for $8 since I would normally make that myself, but these subs knocked my socks off. They even made a custom sub for me (the fried egg special, but with beef) and it was so super mega delicious. New favorite food truck!

Wassub food truck was started by three friends who were looking to introduce asian fusion subs to the DC metropolitan area.
